IT’S BACK!
After a two-year logistical break, we’re pleased to announce the return of the 1-Mile event for runners & walkers of all ages! This event has been a popular choice for many participants over the years – especially for kids who are either too old for Santa’s Keiki Dash – yet maybe not quite ready to tackle the main 5K Event.
This is a timed event – but is primarily aimed at providing an easy & fun option so that just about anyone can come out and enjoy the Jingle Bell Beach Run. No Awards will be given for finishing times. However, 1 Mile costumes will be eligible for the overall Holiday Costume Contest.
HOW TO ENTER

- $20 Entry Fee (12/20) *At Packet Pickup 9:00 – 3:00 PM
- NOTE: Registration IS NOT Available on Race Day 12/20
WHAT’S INCLUDED
- 1 Mile Race bib and timing chip
- Eligibility for the Holiday Costume Contest
- Entrance into the post-race raffle drawing
- Post race snacks
BIB PICK-UP
All registered 1 Mile participants must collect their race packets, which includes the race bib and timing chip, on Saturday, December 21st between 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM – at Coconut Grove Marketplace.
1 MILE START TIME
8:00 AM – Sunday, December 20th – on Ali’i Drive at Coconut Grove Marketplace, (30-minutes following the 5K which starts at 7:30).
PARKING
Free Parking is available at Coconut Grove Marketplace.

1 MILE COURSE
The course is out and back, starting/finishing along the ocean on Ali’i Drive, in front of Coconut Grove’s iconic Sand Volleyball Court. The course heads South 1/2-mile towards Lunapule before turning back to the finish line.
POST RACE FESTIVITIES
Upon completion of the 5K and 1 Mile Events, the crowd-favorite “Santa’s Keiki Dash” (for kids 6 & under) commences on the Sand Volleyball court at 8:30 AM. After that, we begin the 5k Awards, Costume Contest Awards, and an on-going Raffle Drawing beginning at 9:00 AM.
